We invite you to please read carefully through the submission and send us any final comments by Wednesday 20th May, 2009. The final submission will be handed in to the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs on Friday 22nd May for the Ministry to prepare a response before the scheduled meeting on Saturday 6th June.

Auckland Pacific Communities Welcome New Minister of Pacific Island Affairs
Hosted in Mangere, Auckland Pacific Communities gathered together to an evening to welcome the new Minister of Pacific Island Affairs.

Auckland Fiji Methodist & Fiji Community of Auckland Organise Appeal for Fiji Flood Victims
On the weekend of the 17 January, some members of the Auckland Fiji Community together with the Auckland Fiji Methodidst church got together to pack and send items donated for flood victims in Fiji.

On the first Friday of December, some members of our community gathered together at Onehunga Basin Park to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
Youth Forum for Auckland Fiji Youth
On Saturday 30th Nov, 08 our Association ran a youth forum that saw a great day for not only the Auckland youth that were present but also for the young at heart!
With a great selection of speakers including keynote speaker Dr Stuart Mitchell the day was the beginning of more youth initiatives that the Association will be running to enhance the development of our youth.
