Artists from Australia , the Pacific Islands and Aotearoa will be assisting local community organization Waiata Artists Trust at a After Festival Party to be held Saturday nite 13th March starts 9p.m. Club Poly, 155 Karangahape Road, Auckland.
From Australia will be Fijian rapper TREY and Niuean/Samoan Demian singer. Demian a cousin of Che Fu has been support act for many top internationals and returns to NZ after performing at this year’s Big Day Out.

Message to any young males or females in the Fiji Community who would be interested in attaining a Certificate in Carpentry from Unitec.
This is a one-year course which enables the beginning into an apprenticeship or into the Bachelor of Applied Technology.
The course starts on March 15 and ends Dec 10th. The criteria is to have at least 3 years secondary schooling and be a NZ resident.
The scholarship is worth $5,000 and pays for the course fees (students have to pay for their tools).

Tagata Pasifika is currently looking for youth presenters for the 'Polyfest
2004' tv series. If you're aged between 17 and 25, are confident with
interviewing people, camera friendly and willing to work hard in the field,

There is a Kubuna meeting on Saturday 14th February at the Ellerslie War Memorial Hall (also known as Ellerslie Community Centre) starting at 7pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to show and discuss the draft of the Kubuna Constitution, and also to discuss the formation of the Kubuna Confederacy as a a Trust entity.
